These replace the common-failing Roland 80017A chip found in the Juno 106, HS60, and GR700 synthesizers. These are engineered to be sonically identical to the originals, and can be put into the module board alongside the original chips with no audible differences whatsoever.
These must be installed by a competent technician with good desoldering skills. We are happy to install a full set of these in your module board, just choose that option before adding to cart!
These will fit into sockets, however because of the very high stability of this part, we recommend soldering them directly to the board. We have these chips out in many studios and tours and none have failed. We know you will have the same experience.
